Na początku był pomysł. / At the begin was idea.
Potem zabrałem się do realizacji projektu. Poszukałem słoneczników na wzór i narysowałem na desce. /
Then I started project. I looked for sunflowers and drew them on the wooden board.
Zdecydowałem sie obciąć deskę z obu stron. Na dole jak widać na zdjęciu był sęk gdzie drewno jest bardzo twarde i nie da się rzeźbić w tym miejscu. /
I decided cut the board on both sides. At the bottom, as you can see in the picture, there was a knot where the wood is very hard and it is impossible to carve in this place.
Jak tylko miałem czas i chęci powoli rzeźbiłem. /
As soon as I had time and desire I slowly carved.
I tak projekt postępował do przodu./
And so project went forward.
Jeszcze bez koloru. /
Without color yet.
Zacząłem od pomalowania środka słonecznika na czarno. /
I started by painting the center of the sunflower in black.
Na samym początku myślałem, że zrobię różne odcienie lakieru do drewna dlatego łodyga jest brązowa. /
At the very beginning I thought I would make different shades of wood varnish, that`s why the stalk is brown.
Końcowy efekt wygląda tak. Aż miło popatrzeć. /
The end result looks like this. It`s nice to look at.
